Details: Volunteers Needed, May 15-18! The Colorado Colfax Marathon is right around the corner and volunteers are needed for the event. 1. Come out early to cheer on the racers as they run the Half-Marathon route through Aurora on Sunday, May 18th. 2. Create a cheering squad at the entrance (Colfax & Yosemite) and departure (17th and Yosemite) points from Aurora! Bring fun signs or organize a Pajama Brigade! 3. Details: A little leaguer stumbles into Major League trouble when he discovers a 1909 Honus Wagner card while cleaning a neighbor's attic. The card is the Mona Lisa of sports memorabilia; recently 1 of 50 in existence sold for $2.35 million. Joey wrestles with the dilemma of keeping the card or revealing it to the true owner (she said I could keep any junk that I found!) as well as dodging the thuggish owner of the local card shop. It seems only Honus himself can get Joey out of this. Honus and Me is a delightful play, time traveling from today's after-school clubs to the early days of America's favorite pastime.
